Increasing urbanization poses a challenge to public transportation to respond flexibly, comfortably, and sustainably to changing needs. The Urban Idea Train presents a forward-looking S-Bahn concept that sets new standards through human-centred design. Variable interior zones dynamically adapt to different passenger numbers, creating an optimal balance between capacity and a pleasant atmosphere. Intelligent passenger guidance, barrier-free access, as well as well-thought-out lighting and colour concepts noticeably enhance clarity and comfort. This innovative overall concept combines efficiency with an inviting, inclusive environment and shapes the urban mobility of tomorrow in a sustainable and user-oriented way.
