Details
Food and beverage industries generate a large amount of waste (leftover candies, pasta, chocolates, products with high sugar content that are expired or out of specification) and disposed of in landfills, generating negative environmental and economic impacts. A high-performance vehicle fuel with superior productivity to corn and sugarcane ethanol was developed; this innovative and low-cost fuel underwent rigorous quality control in Brazil. In the last year alone, more than 1 million litres were produced, fuelling the company's vehicle fleet, generating savings of over 50% and approximately a 98% reduction in CO₂ emissions compared to fossil fuels.

In the food and beverage industry, large amounts of residual materials are generated daily, which tie up valuable resources and are often disposed of prematurely. The Ambiálcool Station addresses this issue directly and creates the foundation to return organic residues cleanly, orderly, and reliably into cycles. Instead of managing waste as a problem, the solution makes its reuse plannable and facilitates the handover to subsequent recycling steps. It combines pragmatic everyday usability with a clear circular benefit and strengthens the willingness to permanently align processes with resource conservation.
