Circular Logistics has designed and patented a reusable bulk packaging system featuring innovative folding technology. Collaborating with Riese&Müller, a pioneer in sustainable e-bikes, we tested it as a safe packaging solution for e-bikes. This groundbreaking packaging, which received the Eurobike Award, allows the bicycle industry to move away from the disposable packaging status quo. By adopting this system, the industry can achieve zero waste on a mass scale while reducing CO₂ emissions by up to 80 %. Circular Logistics employs a pay-per-use model, using the packaging up to 25 times before recycling it by type for new boxes.

The packaging of bicycles and e-bikes has so far been largely dependent on single-use materials, which generate significant amounts of waste and CO₂ emissions. With the »BikeBox«, Circular Logistics has developed a clever and future-proof solution that stands out through its reusability, foldability, and full recyclability. This holistic concept combines sustainability with practical usability and integrates an efficient return logistics system that closes the material loop and conserves resources. By making a remarkable contribution to reducing waste and emissions and consistently promoting a circular economy, this project serves as an outstanding example of responsible and innovative approaches in the business sector.
