CLS® is a patented, complete-spectrum LED technology for sustainable turf growth in stadiums. It replicates natural sunlight from sunrise to sunset and uses sensor data to deliver the right spectrum and intensity only when needed. Co-developed with the Technical University of Munich over 12 years of plant-biology R&D, CLS is software-managed and can be integrated with pitch-care systems such as irrigation and heating. From mobile rigs to full-stadium installations, it helps grounds teams improve recovery, density and rooting, to reduce disease pressure, and cut energy, water and chemical inputs.

Maintaining stadium turf often requires energy-intensive lighting, thereby tying up significant resources. This is precisely where CLS® comes in, making turf growth predictable without compromising on sustainability. The full-spectrum system with light-emitting diodes is modelled on natural daylight and provides support as needed, ensuring that energy is only used where it really makes a difference. This reduces consumption and operating costs, whilst the quality of the playing surface remains consistent. CLS® stands out because the system makes smarter use of existing infrastructure and adopts a permanently circular approach to energy management during ongoing operations.
