EDISON V2H brings a bidirectional DC charging solution, fully implemented into an energy storage solution, into series production for the first time. It is the first fully CE-certified charging solution of its kind and can be used together with an E3/DC home power station and suitable vehicles from Volkswagen or Ford at the customer's premises in practical applications. At the same time, field tests are being carried out to further develop the technology and its use cases. EDISON V2H is a first practicable series solution for the complex integration of building technology, PV generation, stationary storage system and electric vehicle.

Electric vehicles are often limited to functioning as passive energy storage units, despite their potential to do much more. With »E3/DC Edison V2H«, this potential is being utilized for the first time in a practical and fully integrated application. The bidirectional charging solution not only enables the efficient transfer of solar energy to the vehicle but also allows energy to be fed back into the home grid. This makes the vehicle an active contributor to energy supply. This intelligent integration of vehicle, photovoltaic system, home storage, and building technology convincingly demonstrates how electromobility and energy self-sufficiency can be effectively combined, making a remarkable contribution to the sustainable use of renewable energy sources.
