Details
Leftovers from the production process of collagen capsules from the pharmaceutical industry and waste from the cellulose industries (sludge and biomass peels) that were previously discarded in landfills, causing environmental problems, are now transformed into trees through the Sustainable Biocapsules project. Thus, seeds from native trees collected by indigenous people are inserted with organic fertilizer into capsules that were not used by the industry and dispersed by drones with innovative devices created for sowing. The 100 % organic and biodegradable capsules protect the seeds and serve as nutrients for germination.
The Jury‘s Statement
