Description Particulate cleanliness specifications for technical components in the range of a few 100 μm are commonplace in many industries. However, they can only be met for mechanically processed components if a reliable deburring process has been carried out beforehand. Burrs are sharp edges, fraying or splintering of a workpiece that occur during a manufacturing process. Components with high cleanliness requirements are normally first deburred and then cleaned in a separate process. Integrated solutions are not available. Ecoclean has now introduced a smart all-round solution with EcoCvelox: One system that deburrs, cleans and dries components reliably. The new system concept can be configured depending on the process and used across all industries. Jury statement The requirements for the cleanliness of workpieces is growing globally and across industries. Reliable and process-secure deburring and cleaning are critical for flawless component function of subsequent processes. Usually the processing of the component is done in two systems; high water deburring and component cleaning. With the EcoCvelox, now for the first time there is a system concept available that combines both steps into one system and thereby considers the need for flexibility and individualisation. The result is not only lower costs, such as through retooling and rebuilding times, but also less disruption during future operation of the components.
