Farb-Ton-Griff-Tabelle
Description
This innovative film table, which can be mounted directly on the fingerboard, helps cello students to grasp the note system of the cello much faster. It is a practical, simple and constructive solution, since 75% of the people react first to visual stimuli. This means that the table can be used as an ideal bridge: the aim being to transition more easily from seeing to hearing, from feeling to understanding. A range of different models, also printed on photo carton to hang on, widens the options for cello teaching, too. One model line follows the principle of »12 notes = 12 colours«, another follows to the principle of the piano keyboard: a white piano key is a white dot, a black piano key is a dark dot. The model Piano-Piano has recently been edited for viola and violin as well.
Jury statement
Knowing how to play an instrument is wonderful. To learn it, however, takes a lot of effort and patience. The colourful points that are simply applied as a foil chart to the frets of a cello make it easier to learn because the system of the tones can be recognized not only acoustically but also visually. In principle, it’s a simple didactic idea that promises faster learning success and therefore makes an essential contribution to the motivation to keep practising.
