Description Nuvem is the first handcrafted lamp to be sold by the square metre; hexagonal modules connect to create infinite configurations, easily adapting to the parameters of any space or installation. The lamp’s development took inspiration from a sculpture designed by Miguel Arruda in the 70s; the piece conjures up images of the female form. Slamp’s trademark artisan technique begins with a sheet of millimetre-thin, unbreakable, resistant technopolymer. The sheets undergo cold cutting, producing zero CO2 emissions, and are then hand-folded into the lamp’s three dimensional elements. The light source can be placed anywhere by threading spotlights through the modules’ hexagonal openings. The light source and decorative module use the same cable, and the ceiling rose can host up to six connections.
