PlasmaDerm® Dress

Description PlasmaDerm® Dress is an innovative technology for the treatment of wounds with direct cold plasma. Its innovation is the unique technology that makes the plasma suitable for skin treatment: di_CAP®, which uses the body as part of the plasma generation. It has a two-fold effect: 1. It acts antimicrobially, even against antibiotic-resistant germs. 2. Microcirculation is stimulated and oxygen saturation in the tissues is increased. This leads to optimised cell migration, increased collagen synthesis, improved proliferation of fibroblasts and accelerated epithelialisation. PlasmaDerm® Dress improves the healing of chronic and poorly healing wounds and so simplifies wound management. In all other wounds, PlasmaDerm® Dress is used preventively to avoid wound healing disorders and nosocomial germs.
