Description Senella® is an innovative 3D-printed, resorbable implant that enables regeneration of breast tissue for breast cancer patients. Senella scaffolds are made from a biocompatible resorbable polymer that has been used in the medical device industry for more than 30 years (as suture material). The unique and patented porous architecture of Senella® guides the growth of natural tissue from fat tissue, which is derived from the patient’s own body via a routine liposuction procedure. The implants are slowly absorbed by the body, while the patient’s own tissue forms concomitantly.
