Silphie-Papier
Description
Through the bioeconomic cascade use of the energy crop Silphium perfoliatum, a new regional raw material is produced in addition to biogas: Silphie fibers. Using a biothermal process, OutNature separates the plant fibers of the Silphium and thus obtains high-quality, resource-saving natural fibers that are further processed, in combination with pulp, into Silphie paper. The paper impresses with its good printing and processing properties as well as its unique natural look and feel.
